Bateleur's nest is a comfortable cottage in the heart of Marloth Park situated very close to the river with the sound of hippos , fish eagles and ellies regularly filling the air. The river road is a mere 100 meters from the cottage and allows for a quick scroll to the river lookout point where most lion sightings are reported.

The main bedroom is at ground level with a double bed next to the bathroom. An upstairs loft serves as a separate second sleeping area and has four single beds. Fully equipped kitchen and spacious lounge area.

Outside during the day you can enjoy the Jacuzzi and at night keep warm at night next to the fire pit while enjoying the company of your friends or family whiles listening to the nocturnal sounds of the bush.

With the cottage's proximity to the river you can expect plenty of wildlife during your visit. Looking forward seeing you at Bateleur's nest.
